Once again iSOFT will be exhibiting at HC2008 which this year takes place on the 21-23 April 2008 in Harrogate.

As a global provider to both the primary and secondary care sector iSOFT will be showcasing an extensive range of its market leading solutions. These will include hospital, departmental and diagnostic systems such as radiology, pathology, emergency, pharmacy and operating theatres and LORENZO regional care. In addition solutions for primary care and care in the home will be available to view.

Dedicated to IT in the NHS, iSOFT is passionate about creating real benefit through the adoption of appropriate technologies which make a direct contribution to the well-being of patients and the performance of clinical staff. Integral to this is the belief that clinicians and health professionals should be the next generation of informed IT adopters in the NHS.

To encourage this next generation of healthcare professional to play a greater part in driving the improvement in standards in patient care through better use of IT, iSOFT, in partnership with the BCS and BJHC, is offering ten healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses or allied to medicine) the opportunity to join us at HC2008. We strongly encourage applications from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to apply as well as those from England.

Successful candidates will receive a three day delegate pass, travel expenses1and an accommodation allowance2. To be at the frontline of the future of healthcare IT complete the form beside – selections will be made by a panel from iSOFT, BCS and BJHC on 7 April and notified by 10 April.

1Car expenses will be paid at 40p per mile from home address. Proof of address recent utility bill and/or bank statement) may be required. Train and/or air travel will be organised at iSOFT’s discretion based on cost.

2An accommodation allowance of £50 per night will be made where accomodation is booked through the HC2008 approved accommodation bureau and a receipt is provided. Reimbursement will be made by cheque on the iSOFT stand during the event.
