iSOFT Group plc announces that John Weston CBE has today joined the Board as non-executive Chairman of the Company. John, formerly Chief Executive of BAE Systems plc, is also non-executive Chairman of Spirent plc. As announced in June, Patrick Cryne, currently non-executive Chairman, will now step down from the Board. Commenting on the appointment of his successor, Patrick Cryne said: “We are delighted that John has agreed to join the iSOFT Board as Chairman. We were fortunate to have a very strong short list of candidates for the role but John’s exceptional leadership skills and international experience made him stand out.” Tim Whiston, Chief Executive Officer, added: “John brings vast experience to the Board of iSOFT and I am looking forward to working with him closely as we go forward. iSOFT has the opportunity to become a global leader in healthcare applications software. John’s expertise will be a tremendous asset as we work to achieve that goal. “I’d also like to express my thanks to Patrick for the enormous contribution he has made in building the iSOFT business over the years.” Enquiries: |
