iSOFT appoints new MD for UK and Ireland | ||||||

iSOFT Health, a division of IBA Health Group (ASX:IBA), has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Adrian Stevens as managing director of iSOFT Health UK and Ireland, the group’s largest business unit and the largest supplier of healthcare IT solutions to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
Adrian’s responsibilities include driving major changes and developing the company’s business within the public and private sectors. A key responsibility will be to provide overall leadership of iSOFT’s activities on the National Programme for IT where iSOFT is delivering LORENZO, its next-generation solutions to 60% of the NHS in England. iSOFT’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrea Fiumicelli, said: “Adrian will have a pivotal role in developing our business in the UK and Ireland both within the national programme, the NHS generally, the Irish HSE, and the private healthcare sector. “Driving change is a key requirement for iSOFT in the UK. The changes include a renewed focus on customer satisfaction and driving further improvements in the quality of implementation and support services." About Adrian Stevens Adrian began his career with the NHS as a radiographer, moving into the commercial and business management arena with 3M, Imation, Kodak, and Ferrania. More recently, he was managing director of Agfa Healthcare UK, where he was responsible for managing the company’s business in northern Europe and the Baltic countries. About IBA Health Group iSOFT UK and Ireland is the UK’s largest providers of IT solutions with 500 customers for secondary care and departmental solutions, and 1,200 customers in primary care. It is the UK’s largest supplier of laboratory information systems with 150 customers. iSOFT UKI is the supplier of the LORENZO solution to the National Programme for IT – in sixty per cent of England. In Ireland, the company is installing patient management systems at 40 hospitals under a contract with the Health Service Executive. And it is one of largest suppliers to the private sector.
