Ikazia Hospital is first LabCentre customer for iSOFT in the Netherlands

The Ikazia Hospital in Rotterdam has agreed to purchase LabCentre, iSOFT’s leading software application for laboratories. Ikazia is the first Dutch hospital to buy LabCentre. As part of the agreement, Ikazia will function as premier reference site for LabCentre and its further enhancement in the Netherlands.

In addition, iSOFT will also replace the current communication server at Ikazia with the Rhapsody Communication Engine, and will deliver BROKA, the Patient and Link Portal. With this extensive agreement, Ikazia Hospital makes a long-term investment in iSOFT and its innovative products, which enables the customer to improve productivity and collaboration with patients and other health providers.

LabCentre made its entry to the Dutch market at the end of 2008. Internationally, it has been a leading product for many years. LabCentre holds a leading market position in Germany, and has installations among others in Austria, Switzerland, Malaysia, Russia, Libya and ANZ. In 2008, LabCentre was also acknowledged with the Frost & Sullivan Award, due to its broad functionality, flexible architecture and high user comfort.
