iSOFT boosts innovation programme with new Medical Advisory Board | ||

iSOFT Group Limited (ASX: ISF) – Australia's largest listed health information technology company – today announced the success of the inaugural meeting of its Medical Advisory Board (iMAB), which took place in England on 23 October.
Led by iSOFT Chief Medical Officer Dr. Michael Dahlweid, iMAB will meet at least twice a year and consist of prominent and independent thought leaders in each of iSOFT’s major geographies. Each member is an active clinician and a recognised driver of technology innovation. iMAB plays a critical role in guiding iSOFT’s innovation programme as it seeks to inform the Board on the effectiveness of the company’s strategy, the relevance of new technologies, as well as future healthcare trends in general. Its main goal is to guide the innovation of iSOFT solutions for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure the company’s products and services are supported by evidence of their relevance, future orientation, safety, clinical and cost effectiveness. The inaugural iMAB was held at The Grove hotel in Hertfordshire immediately following iSOFT’s `Ideaworks for Healthcare’ innovation symposium at the same venue from 21 – 23 October.
