iSOFT Business Solutions wins new deals worth A$10 million

iSOFT Group Limited (ASX: ISF) – Australia's largest listed health information technology company – has announced that iSOFT Business Solutions won new business totaling about A$10 million in October. The new deals include two contracts worth £2 million each (A$7.2 million).

iSOFT agreed on a £2 million deal for additional maintenance and licenses with NHS Supply Chain for a warehousing solution to manage the ordering and supply of non-pharmaceutical goods to 600 National Health Services trusts and healthcare organisations in England. The latest four-year contract extends the maintenance and licenses agreement to cover the NHS in Wales. Operated by DHL, the organisation currently manages four million NHS orders a year.

iSOFT won a second £2 million deal with North East Patches Shared System Group (NEP), a consortium of 56 NHS hospitals and Strategic Health Authorities mainly in the north of England. The five-year contract is for a financial performance management solution for planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust in north-west England agreed to extend its managed service contract for iSOFT’s Integra suite of financial and purchasing applications for a further five years. The £550,000 (A$992,000) deal was won in open tender after the trust elected to test the market to ensure it was getting the best value. Under the deal, iSOFT will provide additional Integra modules for document imaging and online invoice authorisation.

The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) is taking the Integra financial solution in a contract worth €148,000 (A$267,000). This follows a contract with NSAI in 2008 for a solution that helps its Legal Metrology Service enforce laws governing weights and measures.

The Official Receiver's Office in Hong Kong has also signed a six-year HK$6 million (A$847,000) contract for further development of its insolvency and estate funds and accounting system and support.
