iSOFT appoints Commercial Director for Spain, Latin America and Portugal

iSOFT has announced the appointment of Antonio Alonso as Commercial Director for Spain, Latin America and Portugal to support its growth and expansion plans in those key markets. Antonio will also co-ordinate the marketing, pre-sales and sales departments.

Qualified in medicine and surgery, Antonio Alonso has 15 years experience in the healthcare IT sector and vast knowledge of the markets in Spain and Latin America. He was previously Commercial Director at Telvent, Healthcare Area, with responsibility for strategic projects in Spain and Latin America.

Antonio has held a number of senior roles in healthcare IT, including Managing Director of Health Network Services and Business Development Director at Data General and Shared Medical Systems.
