ORMIS (theatre management) The Operating Room Information System (ORMIS) is a full clinical department management solution for the operating suite. Interfacing with industry standard PAS applications via HL7 messages, ORMIS integrates various processes for the benefit of both patients and staff. The solution supports the booking and documentation of all relevant care in the operating theatre, providing essential real-time information about the operating suite and the progress of the patient journey. Full support for inventory and equipment management enables the healthcare organisation to take control of stock and equipment and allows for the assignment of surgeon preference cards.
i.Anaesthesia A complete anaesthetic solution, i.Anaesthesia, is capable of capturing all clinical anaesthetic information from pre-assessment to the post-operative period. The application has been designed and written in its entirety by an NHS anaesthetist and reflects a typical paper chart. It combines the familiar paper environment with the power of an electronic patient record (EPR).
Galaxy Surgery Galaxy Surgery is moving information technology for the health service into the 21st century. The application provides the ability to support management decisions and clinical analysis. Developed in an open systems environment, Galaxy Surgery is independent of operating systems, networks, databases and user interfaces. It is therefore able to support most hospital IT strategies and interface to existing patient administration systems.
Galaxy DataWeb Galaxy DataWeb provides a number of ways to deliver theatre activity information to users. Using web-based architecture, it is very easy to implement and use, with minimum overheads to the customer. Galaxy DataWeb comprises four principles of data analysis: data-walking, pre-defined reports, user-defined reports and SQL reports. These give rise to an application that can be used alongside other reporting mechanisms, such as Crystal Reports or direct SQL queries.
